Procurement Manager
Duties and Responsibilities
* Developing strategies, policies and procedures aligned to existing procurement laws and regulations.
* Formulating procurement plans, procurement returns and other procurement-related reports.
* Searching for and evaluating supplier performance to ensure competitive suppliers provide on-time and in-full delivery of procurement items.
* Managing bidding processes and ensuring bidding documents comply with the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act (Chapter 22:23).
* Liaising with PRAZ on relevant procurement matters.
* Assessing modern trends and market dynamics and making recommendations on procurement strategies.
* Documentation and record keeping of all procurement proceedings.
* Identifying, building and maintaining long-term win-win relationships with key suppliers.
* Managing procurement contracts.

Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications and Experience
* Degree in Purchasing and Supply/Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
* Master’s Degree in Procurement, MBA, MBL or equivalent will be an added advantage.
* Professional qualification in Purchasing and Supply or CIPS (Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply) certification will be an added advantage.
* Minimum of 5 years relevant working experience, 2 years of which should be at supervisory level.
