Duties and Responsibilities
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
• Implement security systems according to company policies and procedures
• Supervise loss prevention, crime detection, and investigation processes
a Provide advice on crime trends and help develop and implement action plans to address them a Conductreviews of security systems and recommend improvements and compile security reports
• Attend criminal court cases on behalf of the company
• Supervise contracted security service providers and ensure the proper use and maintenance of security equipment
• Effectively manage health, safety, environmental (SHE), and Quality Assurance Systems and programmes

Qualifications and Experience
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• At least a Diploma in Security Management or equivalent awarded by a reputable institution
• At least five years post qualification experience in private sector security or loss control environment preferably in the mining or heavy manufacturing environment
• Practical exposure in security operational tactics, crime investigation and court appearances a Good communication and investigation skills a Be of impeccable character with no criminal record
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and an ERP system, preferably SAP
Working knowledge of SHE and Quality Systems and exposure to the NOSA SHE System will be an added advantage
• Strong people management skills
• Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision
