Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Plant Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our manufacturing facilities, maintaining equipment, and implementing process improvements.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Oversee the maintenance and operation of manufacturing equipment and facilities
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures including TPM
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues
• Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
• Validations, Qualifications and commissioning of plant, utilities, equipment and instruments
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure compliance with GMP regulations
• Manage and develop a team of maintenance staff


Qualifications and Experience
• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of GMP regulations and pharmaceutical manufacturing practices
• Experience in design, installation, commissioning, qualification, repairs and maintenance of pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment, laboratory equipment and critical utilities such as HVAC Systems, Water Purification and Distribution, Compressed Air, Boilers and Steam and Electrical generators
• Experience in design, installation and commissioning of transformer and electrical circuits in the plant will be an added advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to lead and manage a team
• Experience in the pharmaceutical or beauty care industry will be an added advantage
• Certification in engineering or maintenance
• Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems
