Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities

* Support the preparation and updating of accounting records such as journals, ledgers, and cashbooks.
* Help prepare bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
* Help in maintaining proper filing and documentation of financial records for audit and reference purposes.
* Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and summaries.
* Participate in stock counts and asset verification exercises where required.
* Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.
* Provide administrative support to the finance team, including data entry and report compilation.
* Assist during internal and external audits by preparing schedules and supporting documents.
* Perform general office duties related to the accounting function as assigned by supervisors.


Qualifications and Experience
Candidate Profile

We are looking for committed and quality-driven individuals who:

* Are pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
* Students pursuing ACCA, CIMA, and other accounting-related professional courses are encouraged to apply.
* Have a strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
* Have familiarity with MS Excel (knowledge of accounting software like Sage/Pastel is an added advantage).
