SERGEANT
Description
We are seeking a disciplined, experienced, and results-oriented Sergeant to join our Operations Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising Protection Assistants and junior supervisors, ensuring effective deployment of personnel, safeguarding client assets, enforcing site instructions, and maintaining high standards of security service delivery across assigned sites.
Duties and Responsibilities
Supervise Protection Assistants and junior supervisors on assigned sites.
Ensure the protection of client property, personnel, and assets.
Monitor and enforce effective manning of access and exit points to prevent theft, pilferage, and unauthorized entry.
Ensure proper documentation of receiving, dispatch, and access control records.
Conduct routine patrols, inspections, searches, and verifications in accordance with site instructions.
Effect arrests where necessary and in accordance with company procedures and legal requirements.
Ensure strict adherence to site instructions, company policies, and operational procedures.
Coordinate and monitor effective deployment of security personnel to ensure all assignments are adequately staffed.
Investigate and report security incidents, breaches, and irregularities.
Maintain discipline, professionalism, and operational efficiency among subordinates.
Submit accurate reports and communicate operational issues to management promptly.
Promote excellent customer service and maintain positive client relations.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum of 5 Ordinary Level passes, including English Language.
Security training certificate from a recognized institution.
At least 3 years' experience in the security industry, with a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory role.
Valid Class 3 Driver's Licence is mandatory.
Valid Class 4 Driver's Licence will be an added advantage.
Clean criminal record.
Knowledge of security operations, access control procedures, patrol techniques, and incident reporting.
