Monitor activity within the store to prevent theft, loss and damage to company property.
Observe customers and identify suspicious behaviour or potential shoplifting.
Conduct professional checks of customer bags/plastic bags at the designated exit point, in accordance with company procedures.
Check that items leaving the store correspond with the customer's receipt or purchase.
Assist with identifying items that may have been incorrectly packed, missed at checkout or requested from another branch.
Monitor staff movement and ensure company procedures relating to stock handling are followed.
Report suspected theft, fraud, stock losses or suspicious behaviour immediately to management.
Assist management with investigations into missing stock and discrepancies.
Monitor fitting rooms and ensure procedures are followed to prevent merchandise loss.
