Brand Mgcini Nyoni is not looking for an employee. We are looking for a partner in growth. Since 2005 we have built award-winning theatre, photography and film with zero corporate backing. Now with Bazobuya.com live , we need a driver for admin, marketing and sales.

Contract: No salary. You earn % commission on every booking/sponsorship/workshop you close + % on grants won + monthly profit-share when brand makes money. We are transparent – we all eat when the brand eats.

Location: Bulawayo (Hybrid)

Brand Mgcini Nyoni is a Bulawayo-based multidisciplinary creative house operating since 2005 at the intersection of theatre, photography, film, poetry, music and cultural entrepreneurship.

Founded by Mgcini Nyoni — a qualified teacher turned full-time artist, Amakhosi Performing Arts Academy graduate (Diploma in Creative Arts Communication & Multimedia), and former Vice-Chair of Intwasa Arts Festival koBulawayo theatre subcommittee, the brand has grown from a poetry movement into a tour-ready production house.

THEATRE (Core): 9 stage plays since 2006. Our current flagship is BAZOBUYA – They Will Return, World Premiere 20-21 Aug 2026 at Amakhosi Cultural Centre, Festival Premiere 25 Sept 2026 at Mitambo International Theatre Festival, Reps Theatre Harare (Official Selection). Previous works: SHUFFLE (National Gallery Bulawayo, Jasen Mphepo Little Theatre), Walk With Me, Musings (Ibumba Festival), The Really Stupid Things Men Say (HIFA), The Button Box, Poetic Journey (Savanna Trust Protest Arts Festival).

FILM & TV: Director of The Hudson Road Trip documentary (2024), Five Days to Shiloh (NAMA nominee Best Short 2014), The Zimbabwean Dream, Day 44, Bubble Avenue (South Africa).

PHOTOGRAPHY: Multi-award winning photography

2026-2027 Focus: Touring BAZOBUYA nationally and internationally, building digital archive at , and monetizing via festival bookings, corporate performances, NGO dialogue theatre, workshops, photography commissions, and music.
