VACANCY: ACCOUNTANT

We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented and trustworthy Accountant. The successful candidate will provide accounting and financial support across our Mining and Milling divisions.

Duties and Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Maintain accurate accounting records & financial transactions.
* Prepare bank reconciliations with monthly management accounts.
* Process invoices, receipts, requisitions and payments.
* Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
* Payroll preparation and statutory submissions.
* Prepare VAT and other tax schedules for review.
* Monitor cash flow and maintain petty cash records.
* Budgeting and financial reporting.
* Liaise with clients, suppliers, banks and relevant authorities.
* Audit preparations and ensure compliance with financial policies.
* Costing per department.


Qualifications and Experience
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

* Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
* At least 5 years’ experience in an accounting role.
* Experience in the mining sector will be an added advantage.
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
* Knowledge of Zimbabwean tax regulations and requirements.
