Job Description
We are looking for a motivated student who is ready to learn, work hands on, and does not require much supervision. The candidate will support the SHEQ Department with safety, health, environment and quality activities across company operations.

Duties and Responsibilities
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assist with workplace safety inspections, audits and risk assessments.
2. Support incident and accident reporting, investigation and record keeping.
3. Help with SHEQ inductions, training and awareness campaigns for staff.
4. Maintain SHEQ records, statistics and documentation.
5. Monitor compliance with legislation, standards and client SHEQ requirements.
6. Assist with environmental monitoring and waste management tasks.
7. Promote safety culture and environmental best practices on site.
8. Support the SHEQ team with day to day administrative and field activities.


Qualifications and Experience
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
1. Currently studying or recently completed a National Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Safety Health Environment Quality, Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
2. Available for attachment for a minimum of 1 year.
3. Basic understanding of SHEQ principles will be an advantage.
4. Computer literate with good record keeping skills.
5. Self starter, willing to learn and able to work independently.
