ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Registered General Nurse (RGN) to contribute to the delivery of quality nursing care across clinical services. The ideal candidate should be registered, reliable, and capable of supporting patient care activities in accordance with professional and regulatory standards.

Duties and Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conducts comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical, emotional, and social needs and develops appropriate, individualised care plans.

• Delivers nursing care by administering prescribed medications, carrying out wound care, managing medical equipment.

• Maintains professional standards and is able to conduct basic administrative tasks.

• Works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Qualifications and Experience
QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree/diploma in General Nursing.

• Valid registration with the Nurses Council of Zimbabwe. History

• At least 2 years of post-qualification experience in a hospital or clinical setting.

SKILLS AND TRAITS

• Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to promote health, wellness, and preventive care.

• Professional, ethical, and patient-focused approach.

• Attention to detail and good record-keeping skills.

• Familiarity with basic administrative procedures.
