LOSS CONTROLLER (GRADE 8)

Duties and Responsibilities
KEY RESULT AREAS

* Ensuring compliance and enforcement of Council By-Laws, Resolutions and Directives.
* Assists in the formulation and preparation of Loss Control and Security Risk Management initiatives within Council.
* Assists in carrying out investigations for all cases involving employees.
* Promotes Security and Risk Control Awareness, i.e. crime prevention and awareness campaigns.
* Checks on enforcement of controls in Council.
* Supervision of the loss control section of the Council.
* Any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.


Qualifications and Experience
QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES

* 3 years’ experience in a similar position, preferably in the Public Sector.
* Diploma in Security Management / Loss Prevention / Police Studies or equivalent.
* A higher qualification is an added advantage.
* Class 4 Driver’s Licence is an added advantage.
* ZRP, ZPCS experience is a distinct advantage.
* At least 35 years old and mature.
