Job Description
Zimasco (Pvt) Limited, a major player in Zimbabwe’s Ferrochrome Production sector, has some exciting and challenging career opportunities at its Shurugwi & South Dyke Mining Division.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified, competent and experienced individuals to fill the vacant posts in the Division on Fixed-Term employment contract basis, renewable subject to performance.

Duties and Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES
 Collect samples of Chromite Ores and Concentrates at specific points and deliver them to the laboratory for testing their conformance to required specifications.
 Account for Chromite Ores and Concentrates dispatches and receipts at the mine/plant.
 Generate reports of plant availability, downtimes and daily production.
 Monitor all Chrome mining and processing operations.


Qualifications and Experience
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
 At least 5 Ordinary level passes including Mathematics and English.
 At least 1 year working experience in mining environment.
 Diploma in Metallurgy/Mining or Equivalent from a reputable tertiary institution is an added advantage.
 A qualification in sampling or ore quality control is an added advantage.
 Knowledge of Chromite Ore and Concentrates processing plants.
 Working knowledge of safety management systems, preferably with exposure to the NOSA SHE System.
 Holder of a clean Class 4 driver’s licence.
