Job Description
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill in the above position that has arisen in the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate patient billing in line with the hospital policies and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Prepare and process patient bills accurately and timeously.
• Capture and reconcile patient charges.
• Liaise with clinical departments to verify procedures, consumables and medications charged.
• Ensure compliance with hospital billing procedures.
• Attend to patient and client billing queries professionally.
• Prepare billing reports and assist with revenue reconciliation.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and financial information.


Qualifications and Experience
• Registered General Nurse qualification.
• Current practicing certificate.
• Experience in hospital billing is an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of clinical procedures and hospital charging systems.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Computer literacy and familiarity with hospital information systems.
