Description
To operate and maintain yeast Dryer plant unit as per Standard operating procedure.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Operate and maintain yeast Dryer plant unit as per Standard operating procedure.
• Navigate HMI (Human-Machine Interface) control panel for the 4 million kcal hot air furnace oil burner
• Monitor and record oil burner fuel consumption for the 4million kcal hot air furnace.
• Yeast Dryer Flue gas and airflow draft balancing
• Monitoring Water circulation pump for the wet dust collector vessel
• Operating and monitoring yeast cake packaging machine.
• Lubrication and monitoring of screw conveyors and gearboxes for the yeast Dryer plant.
• Hot air furnace cleaning, heat exchanger tubes poking and inspection during plant shutdown.
• Wet Dust collector Scrubber nozzles cleaning and inspection during plant shutdown.
• Any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.


Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications and Experience
• Five (5) “O” levels including Maths, science, English and/or Computer Science.
• Basic high-pressure vessels / fire tube boilers /heat exchangers operations certificate.
• Knowledge of yeast cake handling is an add advantage
• Experienced in working with highly flammable oils such as fusel oils.
Exposure to Animal feed production working environments is an added advantage
