ACCOUNTING CLERK
VACANCY: ACCOUNTING CLERK
Reporting Structure:
Reporting To: HOD Accounting, Human Resources & Management
Interacts With: Sales & Marketing Team, Service Providers, and Customers
Key Responsibilities:
Contribute to the development and design of sales and marketing plans
(including sales calls).
Participate in high-quality customer engagement, adhering to sales calling
plans.
Develop quarterly action plans to support overall sales growth.
Conduct market visits to assess route coverage, monitor competitor activity,
and identify new sales opportunities.
Compile and present monthly sales performance reports.
Support Accounts (Customers/Creditors) by following up on overdue
accounts.
Handle cash and general payment collections.
Assist with costing and payroll activities.
Perform filing and general administrative duties.
Enter financial transactions into accounting databases or systems.
Carry out any other duties as assigned.
Candidate Requirements:
Experience in the field or similar roles
Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Bookkeeping
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Excellent administrative skills
Ability to maintain tight budget controls
Experience: Previous experience in a customer or consumer-focused role
Age Requirement: 28 years and above
