Our client in the Retail Sector is looking for Shop Managers. You be responsible for managing the shop as a whole ensuring that financial objectives are met and that all aspects of the shop are running smoothly at all times.


• Drive individual and shop team’s performance, through the achievement of KPI’s, to reach targeted goals
• Deliver the highest profitability for the shop by diligently handling controllable expenses
• Manage, train and coach shop employees in sales, product knowledge and operating activities.
• Maintain customer relationships - create an environment where customers are always at the center and have an exceptional experience
• Ensure store execution of product merchandising, marketing and point of purchase standards
• Ensure company policies, including appearance and functionality standards, and local authority regulations are adhered to
• Manage stock inventory levels for the shop
• Provide technical and product knowledge information to associates and customers
• Follow all Company procedures on cash handling including acceptance of payment processes
• Adhere to all sales processing policies to ensure the proper creation and execution of customer invoicing
• Oversee the appearance of the shop with special emphasis on retail area
• Lead Social Media sales and Marketing initiatives for the shop


• Relevant Degree (eg in Retail Management, Business Studies)
• For the Tech Shop, experience managing/supervising in a similar environment will be an added advantage
• Knowledgeable in stock management, cash controls, basic retail or shop running knowledge, the zeal to push volumes and grow with the business.
• Experience as an Assistant Shop Manager / Trainee Shop Manager / Shop Supervisor will be considered
• Microsoft Office and excel product knowledge
• Computer literate, familiarity using POS systems
• Substantial experience in stock management, cash management,
• Appreciation of financials (expenses, gross profit, trading profit) in retail sector
• Experience with Social Media marketing
