Finance and Administration Manager

Applications are invited from mature and suitably qualified, experienced candidates for the position of Finance and Administration
Manager. The key performance / results areas and person specifications of
the position are highlighted below.

Key Performance / Result Areas:

Responsible for overall financial management for the Organisation
Prepares and presents management accounts of the Organisation.
Provides management and cost accounting support to the various divisions of the Organisation.
Sets up the Organisation’s internal financial control systems
Responsible for purchase orders of the Organisation.
Co-ordinates the activities of the finance department.
Supervision of Sections and staff under its department.

Forecasts and monitors cash-flow projections and reports any variances.
Mobilizes and manages financial resources.
Implements and monitors financial policies and procedures.
Co-ordination, compilation and review of annual budgets.
Management of Financial Investments of the Organisation
Develops funding project proposals
Prepares and presents financial reports to the Board of Governors / Directors

Qualifications and Experience

Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) or MBL
Bachelor of Accounting Degree
A professional qualification such as CIS, CA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent a must.
Sound knowledge of computerized and Pastel accounting systems
At least seven [7] years post graduate experience in finance of which three years must have been at management level
Good interpersonal skills and ability to successfully communicate and negotiate at the highest level.
Qualification as a Chartered Accountant will have an added advantage.
