DUTIES AND ROLE SPECIFICATIONS:
• To provide the farm shop with expert preparation of Fresh cut, beef, chicken, fish and other meat produce.
• To present all Fresh cut meat in a manner that promotes good sales.
• To provide Farm shops customers with great service with a smile and ensuring our customers Fresh cut needs are met.
• To assist with the shop environment and atmosphere to create an environment that is clean and hygienic, with well presented cuts and friendly service.
• To assist Farm shop in the procurement of raw meat to ensure that we have the best quality product and competitive pricing within our market area.
• To do regular price comparisons with our competition to ensure we procure product at the right price to compete in our market.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Qualified Blockman with over 10 years’ experience in the industry.
• Must be able to do block tests and product creation to ensure all cuts are best utilized to suit the market.
• Must understand value adding on cut meat.
• Must be a good communicator to our customers.
• Must understand food safety, HACCP standards and common butchery practices to ensure that the butchery is kept at the highest standard.
• Must be able to advise management on product range to suit market requirement.
